Has anyone had a dream about jonsi? I think I have but I can't remember it.. maybe I'll have another!

I have had quite a few!
A lot of the time the dreams play out as if I know him and he's my friend, or sometimes I go to see him perform. They're always nice :DPosted 1 year ago # -
I had a dream the other day that had "Sinking Friendships" as its background music. I've also had several dreams with songs from () and Ágætis byrjun in the background. They're generally pleasant dreams.

I have had this strange recurrent dream a few times, the last one was last weeck where i am in love with Jónsi, i actually think i Buzz endorphines during the dream.

I dreamt I went to see him live (twas awsome of course) then met him backstage and he drew all over my tshirt. Mum wasn't happy, I was :D

He showed me the song titles for the next Sigur rós album on a piece of paper and played it all the way through! The titles where in Icelandic. I dont speak Icelandic but the new album sounds amazing!!

I had a dream where I was holding the camera for part of the Go Do video. But instead of Go Do playing, it was Belle and Sebastian. But, I don't know the words to that particular song, so my subconscious was making them up. "She said to go and talk to the frog." Great.

not jónsi himself, but i dreamed i had a snowball fight with sigur. orri hit me in the eye. haaaa.

I was so happy when I realized my dream! I was in a school office, and I heard somewhere that sigur ros played at one school and I was really surpised. Not much, but I'm glad it was incorporated somehow haha.
if anyone's tried lucid dreaming.. yea one of my favorite subjects!

Well i find it strange but not creepy! I don t choose my dreams. There must be a simple explaination: the fact that i fall asleep listening to music, including "riceboy sleeps".

i listen to music to fall asleep as well, so i often dream of jonsi and alex..
or i dream of thom yorke. but thats a whole different thread;)

I had a dream about (mun)ross last night. It was slightly creepy too, but in a good way. The bedsheets were all gooey when I woke up.

Well, my jonsi-related dream was one of the most beautiful dreams I've ever had! It was night time and I was humming 'Go Do' and flying from tree to tree, rooftop to rooftop, and as I landed on the rooftop of this beautiful house in the woods I saw Jonsi at the very top of a nearby tree, flailing his arms as if he had wings, calling my name. I didn't know what to do so I stood there for a while looking at him, the moonlight shining over his svelte frame all dressed like a bird. So I jumped! and then my dream was over I had to wake up.
The funny thing is that I found a little feather on one of my pillows that morning! and I don't even have any pets. Sometimes I wish I was a beautiful bird, like Jonsi.

I find this thread kind of creepy but the extent of my dreams is...i know i've dreamt of sigur ros shows before, usually in really bizarre public spaces and

last night i dreamed that i went to the mall, and all of a sudden Jónsi walked in with his ukulele and started singing Boy Lilikoi. No one else seemed to notice him and went about their business. I however became ecstatic and picked up some random guitar that seemed to appear out of nowhere and played with him for a bit. he then said with a smile "hey i think i'll try to find you one the 'jónsi forum' sometime!" which i responded "ok! my name on there is Kid A!"...hahah

WELL THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG. Sorry.
I had a recent one where Sigur Rós were touring around Iceland and I lived in one of the towns. And I was supposed to like... drive them around and show them everything. I think we'd met before or something. So I drove them up to where they were staying, a cute little blue cottage on a hill. And behind the cottage was a huge aviary full of these beautiful exotic birds, flying around and looking generally happy. So Orri, Georg and Kjartan went inside the house to have a tea party (what the hell) and Jónsi well... he couldn't because they were having scones and cream and he's a vegan, and apparently I was too. So he said to me, "Damn those cream-eaters, let's go explore." and we did! We talked about music and Icelandic traditional dress and Jónsi's bad eye. If I was able to control my dreams I would have talked about much more interesting things. >_<
So, we walked and walked and went on a rather romantic stroll through the aviary, and talked about how fascinating birds are. We found a hill and rolled down it and got grass stains all over our clothes.Later that day, apparently, Jónsi had to make a speech on animal rights and cruelty. So we went back to the cottage to see the others, and Jónsi to rehearse his speech. We all sat in a circle round him and he started to speak. I could see he was getting really emotional, and I thought, well this will be good, he'll be able to engage people, make them feel too... but then he just burst into tears. I didn't really know what to do, and for some reason Orri and Kjartan and Georg weren't doing anything so I just went over and hugged him. And he cried onto my shoulder. I just sat there and hugged him for ages. It was heartbreaking to see him so upset! But it was nice to hug him <3

Not about Jónsi, but Filip.feather did feature in a dream I had last night. I remember waking up this morning, thinking that I should write it up on here, ’cause it was quite a funny (and odd) dream … but now I can’t remember what it was anymore. :-(
(I did dream about Jónsi once, years ago. It was one of those really spacey dreams. I think I was trying to grow him in a pot, like a plant, but no matter how much chalk I gave him to eat, he wouldn’t spurt any leaves. Not really particularly mention-worthy as dreams go.)

hokay, so. (yes, how they say it at the beginning of that end of the world video)
I was at a restaurant with some friends and there were a big crowd of performers in the front. Then I saw Jonsi running in from outside and I got all excited so I said to my friend that we should take a picture with him. she said go for it, and I ran over to Jonsi and he noticed and i guess recognized me, so he ran over too. I hugged him tighter than ever! Then I asked him for a kiss(just a friendly kiss, because I remembered a video where he was hugging and kissing friends) so he kissed me.this was all really quick. I think I woke up really fast after.

I had an awful dream about Jonsi and Alex. (Might be long, sorry.)
Alex died. It was all over the internet- and I was at home trying to find out what I could- I was so worried. All the facts were muddled and some people were saying that Jonsi had died. Then, suddenly, as dreams do, I was in this cafe and Alex was walking away form the till with a tray with a bottle of water on it. Then, in slow motion his face had a hurt expression, and was very pale, and then stumbled forward. He fell in slow motion, one knee first, dropping the tray. All the people around rushed forwards to help him.
Then it cut to what we were told was a "press release," to reassure the fans. I was at home again, and a home-made video was on the computer. It was a very bad resolution, and it was Jonsi, sitting far back to one side of the shot, looking tiny and grainy and totally heartbroken. He read out a statement in a almost blank voice, hardly a tremor but it was horrible. So so horrible.
I woke up crying.
There was this fear that Jonsi would break without Alex- like he'd kill himself of something horrible. It was a very very nasty dream. I now dislike my subconscious.

Dreamed i was working with jonsi & sigur ros in the studio again! on the new album. wasn't so keen on this version. The last dream Jonsi showed me/played the new SR album. I really liked it, it was brilliant.
