And it WAS fun. My life has changed so much in the past year. As an example of this, the shot-glass I kept on my bedroom shelf is now full of feathers!

So, I made some felt slippers…they’re not perfect. I’m an amateur in the slipper making department. But they’re really cosy even if they do make me look like I have elephant man feet!

Ahh, I'm glad everyone loves my slippers...I was a bit dubious. As with anything I make it never looks like it does in my head...they're brilliantly cosy though. I used to have a pair like that before them but they fell to bits :( I couldn't really go into business making them 'cos they take a whole day to make and don't last particularly long :/
I also got bored the other day and decided I needed some drawing practice (I’m kinda bad at drawing people) so I paused ‘Go Quiet’ and did this:
I know it’s only copied from the video but I really like some of the details; like the feathers and his eye :/

Thanks! And I really enjoyed painting it too. The colours aren’t exactly right because of my weird phone camera, the background is bluer…but it still looks great. And the feathers…I can see myself painting a lot MORE feathers! XD The use of watercolour is totally inspired by Jonsi & Alex art, I never touched watercolour before I saw how it COULD be used! :P
Aaaand…I start ‘art school’ tomorrow…I’m nervous! And apprehensive of becoming ‘the weird Jonsi girl’ too…

MY FACE WHEN I GO THREE DAYS WITHOUT THIS THREADyou guys i missed you all
i got a shirt at urban outfitters which in case none of you knew is THE BEST STORE EVER
it has TWO BIRDS ON IT AND ITS JONTASTIC ill take pictures
and i spent a 2 hour drive listening to nothing but sigur ros and jonsi
and it was awesome
i drew lots of things - no fanart but more crazy beast animal thingies
anywaysit's good to be hoooooome B)
also i broke out singing 'icelandic boys' in the parking lot at the mall.
